Which Echo devices work as a Thread border router in 2026?
Amazon lists ten Echo models as Thread border routers in documentation last updated 1 May 2026: Echo (4th Gen) running Thread 1.1, and Echo Dot Max, Echo Hub, Echo Plus (2nd Gen), Echo Show 21, Echo Show 15 (2nd Gen), Echo Show 11, Echo Show 10 (3rd Gen), Echo Show 8 (3rd Gen) and Echo Studio running Thread 1.3. The standard Echo Dot and Echo Pop are absent.

Which Echo models are not on it
